Academi Gerdd y Lli is a music academy for children from years 1 – 6. The main purpose of the academy is to build confidence and offer singing and performing opportunities for the children of Mid Wales. 

 Following the success of Academi Gerdd y Lli last year the academy will now be split into two classes. ‘Academi Iau Gerdd y Lli’ and ‘Côr Academi Gerdd y Lli’.

Academi Iau Gerdd y Lli


Year 1 – 2 Children
 Wednesday 5pm – 6pm
 Penweddig School Hall  

 Main aim of the academy is to build confidence and provide opportunities for the children to sing and perform.

First session to start Wednesday 18th of April 6 Sessions for £35

Côr Academi Gerdd y Lli

Year 3 – 6 Children
 Wednesday 6pm – 7pm
 Penweddig School Hall  

 A new children's choir based in Aberystwyth! Main aim of the choir is to provide vocal training and opportunities for the children to perform and compete in Wales and further afield.  

 First session to start Wednesday 18th of April 6 sessions for £35

Musical Director
Gregory Vearey-Roberts

Greg is recognised across Wales as a successful soloist and choir conductor. He has taught numerous soloists, groups and choirs that have been successful on the National stage. 

He is also a National and International winner and has also won the Lady Herbert Lewis award twice. 

Greg is the conductor of ‘Côr Ger y Lli’ as well as Ceredigion County Secondary and Primary School Choirs.

Singing Lessons

Greg offers private singing lessons and has taught National, Urdd Eisteddfod and National Eisteddfod winners.
